Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as the Outreach and Events Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving overall awareness about the foundation, orchestrating our flagship conference, and spearheading outreach campaigns to increase membership.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Management:

  • Serve as the lead planner for the foundation’s flagship conference, coordinating all aspects including venue selection, agenda development, speaker recruitment, logistics and on-site execution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract participants, sponsors, and paid attendees for the conference, ensuring maximum participation and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the success and seamless execution of all foundation events.

Outreach Campaigns:

  • Design and execute outreach campaigns aimed at raising awareness about the foundation’s mission, activities and events.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with relevant organizations, industry stakeholders, and media outlets to amplify our outreach efforts.
  • Utilize various communication channels including social media, email marketing, press releases, and networking events to engage with target audiences and expand the foundation’s reach.

Membership Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase the membership base of the foundation, targeting professionals, companies, and organizations within the construction and technology sectors.
  • Create compelling membership benefits and incentives to attract new members and retain existing ones.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with members, providing exceptional support and cultivating a sense of community within the foundation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field.
  • Proven relevant experience (of at least 3-5 years) in event planning, management, and promotion, preferably within a related industry promotion sector or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and website content management systems.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and driving positive change within the construction or related industry.
