Atul Khanzode has been instrumental in the successful growth of DPR Construction, working on projects and with project teams throughout his career and helping improve business through his leadership in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and Lean. As a member of the Leadership Team, he dedicates his efforts to making DPR’s strategies around VDC, data, prefab and SPW successful—leveraging the very best of DPR to build great things for the future.
Atul collaborates with academia and research groups around the world to move our industry forward in the use of technologies to improve project delivery processes. Atul has shared his insights on the impact of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), lean construction and integration of project delivery process at various forums around the world and is a co-author of the book titled “Integrating Project Delivery.”
Dr. Ashwin Mahalingam joined the faculty in the Building Technology and Construction Management division of the Civil engineering department at IIT-Madras in 2006. Ashwin received his B.Tech in Civil engineering from IIT-Madras and then proceeded to Stanford University for a Masters in Construction Engineering and Management. He then helped start up an internet based company in the USA called All Star Fleet, aimed at providing asset management services for construction companies. Following this he returned to Stanford University to pursue a PhD in the area of Infrastructure Project Management.
Ashwin’s research interests are in the areas of Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in Infrastructure planning and management, the management and governance of large engineering projects and the use of technology in infrastructure development. Ashwin is also a co-founder of Okapi Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd and serves as a Director on the Board. He is the Editor of the Engineering Project Organization Journal (EPOJ) and has served on many national committees.
Bhargav Dave is the Co-founder and CEO of VisiLean Oy, a Finland-based startup dedicated to tackling complex production management challenges in construction using lean methodologies.
With a career that began in the construction industry, Bhargav has led numerous process improvement and lean implementation initiatives. He later transitioned into research, focusing on enhancing construction production through the integration of lean construction principles and information systems. His work contributed to some of the foundational research that connects lean construction with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Bhargav has authored over 45 publications and has led several pioneering research projects in the field of construction management and technology.
Kalyan is currently the CTO of Construction at Tvasta. He has nearly 25+ years of combined experience in managing construction projects and enterprise software development, has won many awards and has published widely.
Prior to Tvasta, he was the co-founder and CEO of Nadhi Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an IIT Madras Research Park incubated company that was acquired by Bentley.
He won the 2015 Technologist Innovator award from the Construction Industry Development Council, Government of India. Earlier, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 by CII, Chennai. Recently, he co-authored a chapter on “Cloud-based Collaboration and Project Management” in the Construction 4.0 book.
He holds an M.S. in Structural Engineering from Cornell University and is a Governor’s Gold Medalist with a B. Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras.
Professor Fischer’s research goals are to improve the productivity of project teams involved in designing, building, and operating facilities and to enhance the sustainability of the built environment. His work develops theoretical foundations and applications for virtual design and construction (VDC).
VDC methods support the design of a facility and its delivery process and help reduce costs and maximize the value over its lifecycle. His research has been used by many small and large industrial government organizations around the world.
Manoj is part of the vConstruct leadership team and is leading the DSA (Data Science and Analytics) team. He is playing a leadership role in defining the AI/ML strategy for vConstruct and mentoring the team on some important AI/ML solutions developed by vConstruct.
Manoj also leads operations and is responsible for HR, Recruitment, IT, Marketing, and SEZ operations. He provides mentorship to the Finance and accounting and Software development groups and leads some of the key strategic initiatives at vConstruct.
Manoj has 30 years of experience working across the US, Europe, and APAC regions. He has over 20 years of experience in senior leadership positions in various organizations. His experience includes managing large-scale programs and leading overall operations for different companies. He played a key role in scaling up multiple organizations in India and overseas.
Manoj holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Software Application Engineering.
Saurabh is one of the co founders of vConstruct. As part of
the vConstruct leaders group, Saurabh’s efforts are focused towards ensuring vConstruct is a healthy growing business that provides high-value support to its customers.
He has over 17 years of industry experience with over 10 years of experience managing implementation of VDC and lean construction techniques on large healthcare and commercial projects in USA. These implementations have helped deliver the right value to clients by improving multi-disciplinary trade coordination, constructibility, permitting, and cost and schedule performance. His work has been published in renowned publications including IGLC and AEC Bytes.
Saurabh holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University with a specialization in Construction Engineering and Management and a Bachelor in Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
Venkata obtained his B. Tech in Civil Engineering and PhD in Building Technology and Construction Management Division from Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Madras.
He’s currently serving as Anantrao Jagtap Chair in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
His research interests include Infrastructure Project Governance, Construction Project Management, Organization in Construction Projects and Infrastructure Sustainability and Structural Engineering.

Vivin Hegde is the Founding and Managing Partner at Zacua Ventures, a global venture capital firm with a focus on the Built Environment. He works extensively with early-stage startups and corporates in this space and is on several Boards and advisory teams. With a career spanning two decades, both as an operator and as an investor, he has been deeply immersed in the construction technology space.
Before Zacua, Vivin held several key roles at Hilti, Trimble and McKinsey, including being the General Manager of Hilti-Trimble JV that works on development and productization of new technologies around Positioning, Robotics, IoT and AR/ VR. Prior to that he had set up and led Hilti’s Corporate Venturing arm in North America and led their Sales and Strategy teams across the years.
He is a Mechanical Engineer from NITK Surathkal and did his MBA from IIM Calcutta. Outside of his professional achievements, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing cricket.
